haha, this december is a different one for me. Normally, everyone will start complaining about how time passes so fast when december just started. Everyone will complaint that there is only one more month of sch holiday. At this point of time normally, everyone will be busy rushing through their holiday assignments or if not, their cca stuffs. This time round, i just go through december with just this in mind, " its going to be just another day."
i have a new addition activity into my life.
other than working, shopping, hanging out wif friends, majonging, i started watching all sorts of taiwan shows again. nice nice. kinda typical but still, nice. =)
one more day to 2008.
sad to say, i have to work a full day on new year's eve.

in many occasion, i tend to complain about how people are hurting each other through the small little actions, little statements. but i guess i tend to overlook myself. although i really want to prevent such things from happening, at times, unknowing, i may just hurt you through various acts. yes yes, anyone of you.

oh ya! i forgot to comment abt the latest issue in town that will affect my life!
from next monday onwards, there will no longer be 250.(it used to be 240)
the new service no. will be known as 280(and 300 if its a sonata) and guess what? for every 45 sec of stoppage time, 20 cents will jump. fantastic! u hop on to the cab and you will feel as if you are riding a roller coaster while looking at the meter jump!
but again, if i am the LTA person, i will also not have a better solution so ya, live with it LOR

Most of the time, having a meal by yourself just suck but today, i enjoyed mine. (which i was surprised by myself as well)
ok, shall update about my working life. 3 days of work and i am already starting to get sicked of it haha. Oh i should start from the very basic first. I am now a employee of Jurong Island working for a construction company name P.S.E. Its a construction company working for the big company, Singapore Refinery Company (SRC). Obviously, with just A Level standard, i cannot handle all the technical stuffs thus, i am handling just the office admin.
The main job scope is actually to be a secretary which means to say, everything also do as long as they are office related jobs.
Ok, i must admit that my jobs are actually typical office jobs but while others do theirs at shenton way, i do mine at a much more interesting environment. People around me are mainly uncles and more uncles. Foreign workers from India, Thailand and all sort of places. Seriously, i think that most of them are really very friendly. Oh ya and one thing, my bosses(i got 2 boss) and all the other local employees mainly communicate in chinese so, much of the data and forms are filled with broken english.
hmm, one more thing, if one day one of the tank at SRC do explode, i will most probably die as i am just walking distance away from them. yea, that explains the pay.
so ya, this briefly sum up my work.
this experience brought Jurong Island into one of my options for my future.
This strange thing come bugging my mind again. People always see the negative and fail to notice the positive. The ugly side will forever outshine the beautiful side irregardless of the ratio of good and bad. You can be always a nice person but just because of some small incidents, everything changes. The attitude, the treatment or even the relationship.
Why must it be this way? Because of these, people get unhappy as himself or herself is being victimise. At the same time, others who look at ugly sides of him will get disgusted and irritated. Isn't this making things diffcult for everyone?
Why not go the other way? Amplify the good points, see the beauty. If everyone does so, wouldn't the world be a better place? No one will get irritated seeing ugly things and no one will feel offended.
Apart from this issue, i shall ask one more question, why do people take little things so seriously? Just because of little little incidents, relationships built from, not one hour or one day, but a good old foundation with blood and sweat, are seriously threatened. Worth it?
